How do I configure Outlook Express for my email accounts?
-
In Outlook Express, go to the
Tools menu. Click on
Accounts...

-
A box will appear. Click
Add and select
Mail.
-
Enter your name as you want it to appear on your emails and click
Next.
-
Put in your email address, which consists of a user you set up in webmail
and @yourdomain.xyz, and then click Next.
-
Server type is
POP3 and incoming and outgoing mail
servers are mail.yourdomain.xyz (where yourdomain.xyz is your domain name and
extension such as .com). Click on Next.
-
Next, enter your email address for the
Account Name.
Enter the password you set for this account. Note: Do NOT
check the box "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
-
Click Next
and then click Finish. After
you click Finish, you should see the following window. If
not, go to the Tools menu, and click on
Accounts. After clicking Accounts the window
will appear. In this window, click on your domain until it is highlighted,
then click on Properties.
-
When the next screen appears, click on the
Servers tab.
Under Outgoing Mail Server, check the box next to My server requires
authentication. Click Okay. Note:
You MUST do this step so you can send mail from your domain.
-
Now, you're ready to send and receive mail. To set up multiple accounts,
follow these steps again.

Email Set up info
Please note that we only provide email services - not the software or devices.
Email Software
We do not provide email
software for your computer or laptop. You must go to the software
vendor to set up your email software. For example, Outlook is developed
and sold by Microsoft, so Microsoft is who you would go to for help with
Outlook.
Email Devices
We do not provide email devices, like smart phones, tablets, or any devices that
might be set up to access your email. For example, iPhones are Apple products,
so Apple or their dealers is who you would go to for help with the products they
manufacture.
Instructions
That being said, we have several basic
instructions here that we hope may help get you started, but for the
BEST help, please directly contact the vendor or creator of the
software you are using - or the company that sold you the software (or the
phone) you are trying to hook up. We will be happy to
recommend other companies that specialize in this regard.
